Lolita Vineyard

Forestville, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County

Dot Wine was born from this vineyard. It all started with Lolita. Pam and Lee Martinelli Jr., farm this exceptional hillside site with a southeastern exposure. It’s a cool site with the perfect long and slow ripening period. Located in the Forestville sub-AVA of the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, Lolita is uniquely situated on Goldridge Sandy Clay loam which is the “punk rock folk song hero” of soils for Pinot Noir.

This vineyard is a place of spiritual sanctuary for Lise and is THE model for ultra premium wine farming.

Pam and Lee Jr. offered up a small block from this precious vineyard that produces about 1 ton annually of Clone 777 on 420A rootstock. She picks early and makes a high integrity, minimal intervention wine that maintains natural acidity.

Lyrik Vineyard

Santa Rosa, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County

Lyrik Vineyard is owned by Richard Brand and was farmed by Lee Martinelli Jr. in the 2018 vintage. It’s planted to multiple clones (667, 777, Pommard 4 and 115) and the fruit from these vines are featured in some of the best Russian River Valley still and sparkling wines.

The Huichica soil series of the Santa Rosa basin are not easy to farm, but in the hands of Lee Martinelli Jr., they yield super racy cherry-berry characters with lots of pretty aromatics and bright acidity.

Roan Vineyard

Green Valley, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County

Roan Vineyard is owned by Amber and Mike Roan, and farmed by Dutton Ranches. It is located in the heart of the most prestigious area of the Russian River Valley on a slight elevation compared to the rest of the valley floor.

Pommard clone Pinot noir is planted here on Goldridge fine sandy loam soil. Lise makes a varietal Pinot noir, a rosé and a white Pinot noir from this vineyard.

Kobus Vineyard

Russian River Valley, Sonoma County

Kobus Vineyard is owned by Martin Kobus and Chris Bergin. It is a small, 2.7 acre vineyard of old vine Pinot noir in a warmer area of the Russian River Valley. Lise farms this vineyard specifically for rosé.
