North Coast Wine Challenge Winners look back at Competition

It’s nearly a year since we won Best of Class and Double Golds for our 2024 Dot Wine Nalu Sauvignon Blanc, 2024 Dot Wine Rosé of Pinot Noir, and 2024 Dot Wine Riversmoke Vineyard Grenache at the North Coast Wine Challenge. When we were told that our 2024 Dot Wine Rosé of Pinot Noir was voted as the Sweepstake Winner for rosé wines, we were elated. Then came the announcement that I was awarded the first, inaugural Winemaker of the Year award, and we were just blown away. Dot Wine is celebrating her 10-year anniversary this year, and Shawn and I couldn’t be more proud of our tiny, family wine label. We are beyond grateful to keep moving forward in an industry that is facing so many headwinds with sales and visitation down. Small wineries are closing up shop left and right, and as an industry, California crushed a historically small tonnage, the smallest since 1999. We realize how important it is to support the small, independent, family wine companies, and we thank you, our ohana for the support to keep Dot Wine going.
